Eddie Campbell was Eric Kirby's friend in Oklahoma and is leader of the small group of people who come onto Isla Sorna to find dinosaur eggs.

Eddie is a take-charge kind of guy and a good leader since going to army camp. He knows how to survive and how to get around dense forests and jungles.
Good natured with a sense of humor, Eddie leads his team onto Isla Sorna in hopes that they may run into Josiah.
From Eric, he learns about the dinosaurs and the dangers of the island to which he uses to keep his team alive.
He was a friend of Eric’s who often got into trouble and dealt with thieves. Also known he went to Juvenile hall. because of this he stopped being Eric's friend for a while.
